A supporter of the 2^nd amendment for most of my life, I grew up in the gun rights desert of New York City. After college and a move to Massachusetts, the gun rights situation was only marginally improved. A move to the “Live Free or Die” state of New Hampshire finally delivered me to a state that embraced gun rights.

Although I had limited shooting experience, as I began to join the gun culture, buy my first gun, get training and educate myself, I searched for information targeting the new shooter.  While there are lots of articles and most gun sites have some information, there was no one place I could find that was dedicated to educating and supporting the first time shooter.
